The Herring Hike

Walk for the Baltic Sea!

The Herring Hike will take place on Sunday 6.10.2024 in connection with the Rowing for the Baltic Herring event.

During the event, the participants will walk in guided groups along a five-kilometre route from Töölönlahti to the Market Square. Along the route, they can observe the church boats from the shores and build up their knowledge of the Baltic Sea with playful activities.

The hike is a family event, and children under 12 participate free of charge when accompanied by a paying adult.

The €60 participation fee includes breakfast and lunch and an interesting seminar on the Baltic Sea.

Proceeds from both the rowing and the hike will be donated to the Baltic Sea Action Group's work to protect the underwater biodiversity of the Baltic Sea.
